New Android Bricked Phone How To Interact With
No other device to get into my google account and they wouldnt help me. It happens every 25-30 seconds while holding the power button.Research online shows that the phone is booting into some Qualcomm bootloader mode, but I have no knowledge on how to interact with it or even where to find the drivers (if available and not proprietary?) Again, nothing displays on the screen at all.I'm technically minded enough to follow instructions or a support page to get me back up and running if I have to run some adb commands, flash an OS, whatever - but I can't even get to that point so far?I was stuck in Puerto Rico when this happened to me a few days ago. I think I can get the device to turn on and off, as when I hold the power button down while plugged into a PC, I get the Win10 "unplug and plug in device" sound like if I plugged in a actual working phone or USB stick.
Also listed here with what would probably need to happen, and it is unlikely:Ohh crap!!Not again -_-… I had the original Pixel and it gave me headache after 2019 when the audio would stop working. This has been a night mare. Apple has found themselves a brand new customer for life.I can't help to think about how little they wanted Pixel 3 owners to still be around since they are promised unlimited full quality photo/video uploads to Google Photos that they are terming next year anyways. If they don't make this easy on me and get it fixed ASAP. I have had nothing but issues when they started updating Messages to get it to use chat functionality and rolling out beta updates and Pixel 3 XL (in my opinion) was the last device they launched that was worth a shit. Been part of Google Fi as soon as they launched the service.
Everything so far is good. But since I had purchased it from US and was abroad at that time, had a hard time with google to fix it.Got an iPhone 8 for a while and then went back to the Pixel 3 a year later. That with a weak battery meant I tried to send it to google. After some googling it turned out to be a hardware issue with audio IC on some OG Pixels. In power amp it would show audio engine failed. Had to perform a restart to get the sound working again.
I’m seriously starting to thing google has some really terrible quality control issues. But saw some posts here with folks facing issues on that phone too. I was thinking of getting a 5a for my mom and the new Pixel 6 for myself. Just had my battery changed too.
